The part-time funeral assistant supposrt the funeral director(s) by assisting with funeral, memorial, and visitation services. Duties may include transporting and care of the deceased, helping dress and casket the deceased, a variety of administrative tasks, preparing the chapel for services, running errands, driving funeral home vehicles, cleaning the vehicles, and other prepatory duties as needed. Must be able to work after regular business hours and weekends as needed. Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record.
